Abele Trying To Disenfranchise Black Voters

Last fall, Milwaukee County Executive Emperor Chris Abele presented his proposed budget to the county board.  It was then when he first uttered the words that he was helping the African American community in Milwaukee by improving the House of Correction, increasing child support enforcement, social services and mental health programming. Since then, he's repeated the same thing in other settings and to other audiences.

Thus it was no surprise to anyone, but Abele, when he lost the City of Milwaukee, which has the state's largest African American community, to his opponent, State Senator Chris Larson, by ten percentage points.

This was not Abele's first time for making a race relationship blunder. Most notably, in 2012, Abele sent Patrick Farley, his then Director of Department of Administrative Services to make a fraudulent criminal complaint against Johnny Thomas, an African American county board supervisor.

Since making his infamous comments last fall, two other major incidents of racial discrimination by Abele has come out.

The first is when Abele defied a forty year old federal consent decree that dealt with racial discrimination practices the county did in the 1970s. Abele refused to offer a first shift position to Doris Ellison, an African American certified nursing assistant at the Behavioral Health Division who had been laid off by Abele.

The second incident involves Jonette Arms, the interim director of the Milwaukee County Department of Aging.  Even though Arms, who is African American, has held that position since June 6, 2015, when the previous director, Stephanie Sue Stein, had retired, Abele has refused to nominate her to become the full time director.

Not only has Abele refused to nominate Arms - treating her differently than any other director - he has further disrespected her by:
  • Undermining her authority in her own department
  • Forbidding her from representing her own department at various meetings, including before the county board
  • Forbidding her from having any communication with the press
  • Smearing Arms in front of the Commission of Aging
Abele recognized that he had damaged himself badly with the African American community, enough so that it could cost him the election next week. And since he was not invested enough to do the work needed to repair his race relations, Abele has decided to go on a full smear attack of his opponent in order to turn off African American voters to both candidates.

To do so, Abele has sent out endless mailers, claiming that Larson is the racist in this race. He has also enlisted the aid of his favorite sellout state senator, Lena Taylor, to express faux outrage over an alleged insult by Larson. It only took her a week to figure out she was offended. And even though she accepted Larson's apology, she continues to try to milk the attention for what it's worth.

Abele has also called on the aid of a corporate African American radio squawker, Sherwin Hughes, as well as a African American "journalist" at the Milwaukee Courier to run nonstop smear attacks on Larson.

The allegations and innuendos leveled by Abele and his camp are utterly ridiculous. If Larson was such a raging racist, as they try to infer he is, Larson would never have been endorsed by such prominent African American leaders such as Congresswoman Gwen Moore, State Senator Nikiya Dodd, State Representative David Bowen and the Honorable Vel Phillips, a pioneer for African American women in Milwaukee and Wisconsin government.

In fact, Abele's allegations have gone so far as to accuse Larson of disrespecting Dodd. Dodd addressed the ridiculousness of such allegations on her Facebook page:
Over the six years I have known Chris Larson, we have had a respectful, professional relationship. Never has he used derogatory language to distort my character, or used demeaning language towards me as a Black woman, as it was claimed on the radio today.
I am deeply concerned that certain individuals have used my name to create a narrative of false accusations, engaged in political mudslinging, and have been spreading rumors without verifying or fact-checking.

If I ever have issues or concerns about any person with whom I have developed a professional working relationship, my practice and my reputation is to address issues or concerns directly with that person.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I stand for respectful professional relationships, and for not tolerating any disrespectful behavior towards me.

I have never had to address these types of concerns with Chris Larson because we have always treated each other with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

We don’t agree on everything, but we’ve never crossed a line where Chris tried to tear me down as a Black woman. That’s not a bridge we’ve ever had to cross.

It’s unfortunate that in this political landscape some people have stooped so low as to abandon all integrity rather than stand up for the truth.
Abele might have a lot of money thanks to his daddy, but all the money in the world won't by Abele a drop of integrity or class.

The Bungling Brothers Circus Comes To Wisconsin

Not only has what's left of the Republican Presidential Circus come to Wisconsin, they wasted little time getting the show off.

The Republican establishment and their dark money overlords have decided to make Wisconsin the place they draw a line in the sand against the Donald Trump juggernaut. They are throwing everything they have at Trump here - from ambush radio interviews to every Republican leader in the state attacking Trump and praising Cruz.

It's not that Cruz has a realistic chance of becoming the nominee. The establishment just wants to stop Trump to make it easier for them to manipulate the rules of the convention so that a candidate of their choice is named.

This culminated on Tuesday when Scott Walker endorsed Cruz even though he already said that he didn't think Cruz or anyone else still in the race would be the nominee. Maybe that's why Walker's endorsement sounded a little less than convincing:
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker endorsed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in the Republican presidential primary on Tuesday, telling conservative radio host Charlie Sykes he's "all in" for the "common-sense conservative who ... sticks to his guns."

Walker made it clear his support for Cruz isn't the result of an "anyone but Trump" mentality shared by many Republicans; rather, he's excited about the candidate.

"To me, I'm all in," Walker said. "This is not a default."
Um, yeah. If you have to try to convince people that Cruz is not your default choice and that you were just following orders in endorsing him, well, it's not very convincing after all.

Also, when Walker dropped out of the race in record time, he tried to get the other candidates to do the same so that they could focus on beating Trump.

Walker also promised to go around campaigning for Cruz although it's not clear what a governor with a 39% approval rating is going to do to help and not hurt the campaign.

Meanwhile, Trump had been predicting that Walker wouldn't endorse him. And when Walker came out with his endorsement of Cruz, Trump slammed him but good:
Trump predicted -- correctly, it turned out -- that Walker would endorse Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in Wisconsin's April 5 presidential primary. The real estate mogul suggested Walker may have been smarting from his short-lived presidential bid. Trump took credit for knocking the Wisconsin governor out of the race.

"We sent him packing like a little boy," Trump said during the 20-minute interview. "I'm the one that revealed his weaknesses."

Walker, Trump said, left the GOP primary field "in disgrace." Trump added, "I'm surprised he's got any juice left in Wisconsin."

Trump then pointed to Walker's recall election in 2012, saying there appears to be a lot of hostility in the Badger State.

"Wisconsin has a lot of problems. Plus, there's tremendous hatred. You look at the vitriol," he said. "I wouldn't exactly say, fellas, that things are running smoothly."

While Walker was still in the running for the GOP nomination, Trump said he simply pointed out that Wisconsin was facing a $2.2 billion budget deficit, something he said the second-term Republican governor never explained.

"The schools were going begging and everything was going begging because he didn’t want to raise taxes because he was going to run for president,” Trump said of Walker. “So instead of raising taxes, he cut back on schools, cut back on highways, cut back on a lot of things.”

In the end, Trump said: "I hit him very hard. . . . Literally, in one week, he was out of the race."
Meanwhile, Ohio Governor John Kasich (remember him?) was trying to keep even a shred of relevance:
Republican presidential candidate John Kasich said he wasn't surprised that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker did not endorse him on Tuesday and went instead with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

"I kind of thought this would happen," Kasich said.

The Ohio governor intimated in stops in Milwaukee and Waukesha that Walker's decision to back Cruz was little more than a speed bump — if that — in his run for the GOP nomination.

Kasich reiterated his belief that Trump won't get the necessary delegate count to make his nomination a certainty, and at the convention in Cleveland, Republicans will eventually turn to him — someone with leadership and experience.

"I have basically labored in secrecy for a very long time — and now, all of a sudden, I kind have some of the sun shining on me," Kasich said in Waukesha.
The strategies of the three candidates are also interesting.

Cruz is rarely stepping out of his comfort zone of the three ultrared counties around Milwaukee - Washington, Ozaukee and Waukesha - where the establishment is strongest. Meanwhile, Trump is hitting a lot of the outstate places where he has the strongest support. Kasich is going anywhere and everywhere, begging to get what votes he can. Kasich said that he wants to be a spoiler for Trump, but odds are he's going to hurt Cruz worse than Trump.

On the other side, both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are drawing good crowds and getting the crowds very enthused.

And of course, with the circus going into full speed, the rest of us are just sitting back and eating our popcorn.

The Great (Democratic) DIvide

By Jeff Simpson

Democratic Presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders came to Madison on Easter Weekend to give a rally.   Over 8000 people packed the Alliant Energy Center to hear Sen. Sanders, break the news that he also won Alaska and Washington by huge margins that day.

“The Republican candidates think elections are about attacking each other’s wives. Or behaving as if they were 10-year-olds in a food fight in a cafeteria,” Sanders said. “These Republicans are not just an embarrassment for the American people, they are an embarrassment for sane Republicans.”
Madison Mayor Paul Soglin, one of a number of speakers opening the event, said Sanders was the only presidential candidate who wasn’t beholden to special interests and created policy proposals with middle-class families and workers in mind.
“The (current) agenda includes too many tax breaks for those who exploit workers in this country and abroad,” Soglin said to a cheering crowd. “Let’s get a couple things straight — tax breaks for the rich do not create jobs.”
Over 8000 screaming Democrats and Progressives took four hours out of the middle of the day on a Saturday to show support for Bernie Sanders.
While there were over 8000 people there, the one thing that was noticeably missing was elected officials.  Sure there were some Progressive Dane County Board members and Madison Mayor Paul Soglin(who endorsed Bernie at the event) yet not a state wide/national elected official from WI was in attendance.
The stories of the Clinton's ruthlessness are legendary and probably a good reason why the electeds almost exclusively endorse Hillary.
Heaven help anyone's career who endorses Bernie and Hillary wins!!
We see that with almosty unanimous support for Hillary from elected officials, not just in Wisconsin but the rest of the country as well.

This is a typical Hillary picture, meeting with local electeds alone and away from  the peasants.

Where as this has been more true of the Bernie Sanders rallies:

When the electeds so differ from the voting public, it shows the disconnect they have with their constituents and it also shows that many are more worried about advancing their career, than making the world a better place!

Please vote for Senator Bernie Sanders on April 5th!

Walker Pulls An Early April Fools Prank

Wisconsin has been overcome with the stench of the GOP's flopsweat. Wisconsin's presidential primary is coming up in just over a week, on April 5th, and already the candidates from both parties have been flocking to our once great state.

The GOTea Party has decided to make Wisconsin a battle line to stop Trump. Most of the state leaders have come out to endorse Ted "Casanova" Cruz despite his Cuban Mistress Crisis. Radio squawkers have been beating the drum for Cruz, giving him lots of free air time. Dark money front groups have been sending out anti-Trump mailers. Right wing propagandists and bloggers have been working overtime to promote Cruz, even to the point of telling people not to vote for Ohio Governor John Kasich for fear that will take votes away from Cruz and allow Trump to win the state.

But leave it to Scott Walker to make the battle for the party go from the hilarious to the utterly absurd.

On Friday, Walker, when asked about the presidential race that he had to drop out of after only ten weeks, had this to say:
If the Republican Party finds itself with an open convention in July, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker believes the nominee may not be Donald Trump, Ted Cruz or John Kasich.

"I think if it’s an open convention, it’s very likely it would be someone who’s not currently running," Walker told reporters Thursday. "I mean, who knows. The one thing I qualify — it’s like the qualifications you see on those ads you see for car dealerships. I think any of us who comment on this election have to qualify that almost every prediction’s been off, so it’s hard to predict anything."
Forbes took it as to mean that Walker was alluding to him becoming the GOP nominee if Trump is unable to lock up the nomination.

While the idea that such a flop as Walker could become the nominee is laughable to many, there should be a level of concern about this happening.

The GOP convention will be run jointly by the head of the GOP, Reince Priebus, and Lyin' Paul Ryan. We already know that Priebus is not above breaking the rules to help out his old chum Walker. And Ryan and Walker have been long time friends.

In other words, the thought that Priebus and Ryan would follow their dark money overlords wishes to manipulate the convention and eventual nominee is entirely plausible. Whether that nominee would be Walker is a bit more far fetched but still possible.

The other thing to consider, however, is that Ryan himself appears to be jockeying himself into a new position. He has been making himself much more visible and has made a number of statements that are clearly aimed at Trump's foolishness. Oh sure, Ryan has been denying any interest in being the presidential candidate for his party, but he said the same thing about being Speaker of the House.

Regardless of whether Walker's April Fools prank has any merit to it, this whole three ring circus makes it worthwhile to stock up on popcorn.

Abele's Motivation

In an introductory video, Chris Larson explained why he was running for the office of Milwaukee County Executive.  In said video, Larson said that he was very concerned about not only the damage that Abele was causing to Milwaukee County but to democracy as well.

When Larson won the primary election, the incumbent, Chris Abele, said that he was willing to spend $5 million on his campaign.  That's a helluva lot of money for a job that only pays a little over $129,000.

So what would motivate someone to spend such an extravagant amount of money for a county executive position?

Abele, who is a multimillionaire - thanks to his father, John Abele - surely doesn't need the money.

It could be Abele's need for affirmation due to unresolved daddy issues:
That was exactly what Abele needed to do, too. Like the nonprofits he advised, he wanted to win the approval of a major philanthropist – in Abele’s case, his father. “Chris always said his father felt he was never successful at anything,” says friend Benson. “I think that explains Chris’ workaholic desire to do well.”

Abele’s inability to distinguish himself in his father’s eyes may have fueled his constant need for approval, which he sought in other places, including Milwaukee’s limelight. But he also found the perfect proving ground for another chance. “In Boston, he’d always be the son of John Abele,” says Theoharis Constantine Theoharis, Abele’s former Harvard instructor. “He had to strike out on his own, away from the inevitable comparisons to his father. And he had a certain excitement about what he could do in Milwaukee.”
It could be that Abele was looking to leverage his money. Look at the fact that he owns $2 million worth of condos right next to the future Bucks arena. That property is guaranteed to spike dramatically in value. But then again, as I pointed out above, Abele doesn't really need the money.

Abele is also known for not following through on things when they prove to be difficult.  For an example, just look at the fact that he didn't bother to complete his education.

So what is motivating Abele to drop so much money on this race? What is his agenda?

The answer is a combination of the above.

In 2010, the Greater Milwaukee Committee, of which Abele was on the board at the time, commissioned the Public Policy Forum to do a study on the best way to completely do away with Milwaukee County government or at least shrink it down enough to drown it in a bathtub.

To summarize their findings, it boiled down to four basic things:

  • Spin off things like the transit and parks systems into their own entitites;
  • Cut into the pension and healthcare costs;
  • Inventory and consolidate county assets;
  • Pass off county responsibilities to the state and/or municipalities.
Sheldon Lubar, another GMC member and a mentor of Abele's, had broadcasted this agenda years ago, when he said that they wanted to "blow up" county government:
Lubar offered mostly a broad-strokes recipe for reform: a gradual "devolution" of county government in which duties such as social services, the county jail and House of Correction and the courts are turned over to the state. Parks could revert to municipalities or a regional parks district, if voters want that, he said. Transit, airports and cultural institutions could be turned over to new regional authorities. All would be overseen by a fiscal oversight board.

If one looks at the damage done by Abele over the last five years, you can see that they have been working hard on this agenda:

  • Abele got his Republican friends in the state legislature to spin off the mental health system into its own entity, answerable to no one but Abele himself;
  • Abele has put such severe pay cuts on county workers, with the help of Scott Walker and Act 10, that Abele had actually exceeded what Walker was doing to state workers;
  • Abele had, again with the help of his Republican allies in Madison, made it so he could unilaterally sell off county assets without any input or approval by the county board and without having to tell the public.  He has already sold a number of county-owned property for pennies to the dollars, such as the land for the Couture or the Bucks Arena;
  • Abele has repeatedly tried to foist the responsibilities for law enforcement, especially in the parks, to the local police, all the while dangerously cutting deputies, endangering public safety for all.
That does not include Abele undermining the county board, concentrating an unprecedented amount of power in his hands.  But even that is not enough for Abele, who tried to get his Republican friends to take the county board out of even the budgeting process, making him for all practical purposes, the Fiscal Emergency Manager.  We all have seen how well that worked out in Detroit and Flint, Michigan.

In summary, Abele's agenda is to con the people into reelecting him so he can continue working towards his, and GMC's, ultimate goal of a more perfect plutocracy.

Meanwhile, Chris Larson wants to restore democracy and give the people their voice back in how their government is run.

Ever notice that the same people who are outraged that President Obama did not cut his Historic trip to Cuba short because of the Brussels terror attacks, are the same people who had no problem that George W Bush stayed and finish reading a kids book while our towers fell.

The Torturous Campaign Of Rebecca Bradley

By Jeff Simpson

We have seen Rebecca Bradleys hatefilled screeds, that she wrote and had published in college.   She is desperately scrambling to distance herself from them but unfortunately she keeps digging.

In an attempt to show her as a non partisan jurist, she tapped  noted homophobe and bigot Sheriff David Clarke because he falsely has a D after his name.

The problem is Sheriff Clarke likes to talk alot.   When he taks he spews his own version of hatred and ignorance.   Today, after the terrorist bombings in Brussels, Sheriff Clarke pulled over in a handicap parking spot just long enough to tweet out that if only the Brussels officials broken international law they could have stopped the bombing.

User Actions Had Brussels officials questioning terrorist Salah Abdeslam used waterboarding technique they may have learned of the latest attacks sooner.

Which puts him right in sync with The Donald!

Apparently the Sheriff does not know that Waterboarding is torture and it is illegal.

Nevermind the fact that it does not work.

I wonder if anyone in the press will have enough courage to ask Ms. Bradley if she also condones breaking international laws to torture people who might be terrorists,

The GOP Enjoys Trump Rallies!

By Jeff Simpson

We brought you the story of,  in your face racism that is prevalent in the Republican party, especially where the GOP Presidential sweepstakes is concerned.

As we know, there is always more.   While the obnoxiousness and absurdity of the candidates has empowered the dregs of society to feel comfortable talking and committing violent acts.

I wonder why they would feel that they could attack someone that did not look like them.

In the next few weeks you will hear of an attempt at a coup by the Republican powers that be, where they will try and derail the Donald and subvert the will of their base.

Republican leaders adamantly opposed to Donald J. Trump’s candidacy are preparing a 100-day campaign to deny him the presidential nomination, starting with an aggressive battle in Wisconsin’s April 5 primary and extending into the summer, with a delegate-by-delegate lobbying effort that would cast Mr. Trump as a calamitous choice for the general election.
Recognizing that Mr. Trump has seized a formidable advantage in the race, they say that an effort to block him would rely on an array of desperation measures, the political equivalent of guerrilla fighting.
The group who whined about the uncertainty that was created by the recall are now planning to completely upend the electoral process of the primaries and create massive uncertainty within the Presidential primary process.  Anything to make sure the billionaires stay in power.

While the Republican establishment hates Trump and is very worried about losing their grip as owners of the Republican nominee, they do appreciate the fact that his supporters like to physically abuse people who disagree,

Thiessen concedes that Trump’s egging on of the people in his crowds, including the promise to pay their legal fees, is “highly irresponsible” — but it’s just so invigorating to see it: “His supporters see a man who stands up for himself and believe he won’t let the United States get pushed around either.”
Yes, Trump’s call for a Muslim ban, his spewing of conspiracies theories about 9/11 and Iraq, his embrace of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Middle East dictators, and his calls for protesters to be “roughed up” are all repulsive. But for many Americans, the left’s smash-mouth tactics are repulsive as well.
Trump understands this, which is why he is milking the protests to his advantage. He is using them to rally blue-collar America by saying we’re not going to take this anymore — we are not going to bow to the Alinskyite tactics of the radical left.

Yes, your memory is not playing tricks on you.  You have heard of Marc Thiessen before, he is responsible for this literary nightmare!

One would think that when your resume consists of writing speeches for the President who gave the worst speeches in History and ghostwriting a fictional autobiography of one of the worst  and most easily intimidated Governors in history would disqualify you from being taken seriously in politics again but this is crazy season.

In case you are wondering where does Walker fall in the battle between the GOP and the Donald?  Exactly where you would expect him too - playing both sides.

The governor said the field became a little clearer after Tuesday’s contests, but no decision has been made yet. “Clearly sometime between now and the presidential preference primary…I’ll let people know if I’m going to endorse or not,” Walker said during a stop in Green Bay earlier this week.
Walker himself dropped out of the race last September. While he did not mention Donald Trump by name at the time, he encouraged other candidates to also exit so the Republican Party could establish another front runner in the race.
Apparently, even though Walker spent 71 days and $7 Million dollars hanging out with these guys, he still needs more time to see who he can endorse that will further his own blind ambition.

Finally as for Trump, now that he sees that the GOP establishment has set their sites on making him go away, he feels empowered to ramp up the hateful rhetoric....

During a Saturday rally in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump made his supporters grand promises of how “we are going to win”. Amongst these promises was an ominous threat. Shouting over the crowd’s cheers, Trump yelled:
“We’re going to win with our Second Amendment. We’re gonna win big league with our Second Amendment!”
You can watch the unbelievable moment below, where Trump delights his gun-loving fanatics:

I truly believe that unless an adult steps in to the room and puts his/her foot down this is going to escalate into a conclusion where people get hurt.  Who is going to be the adult in the room for the GOP?

What a horrible time in our History!

Happy Anniversary, Boss Abele, You Pro-Poverty Plutocrat!

Two years ago, then Milwaukee County Supervisor David Bowen led the way to the passage of a living wage resolution.

Two years ago today, March 19, Milwaukee County Emperor Chris Abele vetoed the resolution, claiming that it was too expensive to pay people $11.23 per hour even though he paid his staff more than $80.00 per hour. He predicted it would send the county into economic ruin.

Fortunately, the county board did not believe his scare tactics and overrode his veto.

And guess what! The county is doing just fine.  Actually, Abele is boasting about the improved situation that would never have happened if his veto stood.

But Abele wasn't done with just a veto he knew would be overridden.

While the board was deliberating and passing the resolution, Abele was busy doing what he always does when he doesn't get his way.  He was running to Madison, checkbook in hand, to cry on the shoulders of his Republican friends.

In order to thwart the county board's actions to help the working poor, Abele used both his own and the taxpayer's money to get the Republicans to pass a law banning living wage ordinances across the state.   Oh, Abele tried to deny his involvement with the attempted ban of living wages, but the proof stated that - SHOCKER ALERT!!! - Abele lied about that too:

In other words, Boss Abele wanted to keep thousands of Milwaukeeans - most of them African Americans - living in poverty and would hurt working people across the state to do so.

In glaring contrast, his opponent in the upcoming election, State Senator Chris Larson, is very much in favor of the living wage.  As a state senator, Larson co-authored a bill that would raise the minimum wage in increments to a living wage of $15.00 per hour by 2020.

While Abele thinks that you make too much money and that only his fellow plutocrats and his lackeys should be able to live well, Larson has vowed to work with the community to lift all boats.

On April 5, we must make sure we stand up for ourselves and our best interests by voting for Chris Larson.

Quid Pro Quo Radio Show, a.k.a. WNOPE

I’ve been watching the racially charged rhetoric come out of the Abele campaign for a while.  For a guy whose campaign employs exactly one individual of color, it’s a lot to stomach.  Recently, Abele’s team figured out that they could, for a very low price, have their very own radio mouthpiece: Sherwin Hughes’ “The Forum” on WNOV.  Better yet, it would come with a built-in propaganda machine that wouldn’t challenge him on the MPS takeover, the Bucks giveaway, the Domes—none of it.

With school privatization contributions and Abele money, Sherwin’s show has kicked into full attack mode on anybody who’s even walked by Senator Chris Larson—Abele’s challenger-- on the street. I don’t know how much Abele gave Sherwin but he has no problem going all in, especially if the end result is to serve as a gossip-fueled community wrecking ball.  Is there anybody doing real community work that hasn’t been made fun of, unfriended and blocked on Facebook, or otherwise called out by the World’s Thinnest Skinned Radio Host?  Put something on his Facebook page to challenge him and I will 100% guarantee you he will send you a message trying to see if you are trying to damage his brand. Whatever Sherwin's brand is, it smells like hot garbage and community damage.

You have to go back a few years to get the connections here.  Abele staffer Michelle Bryant and Sherwin worked for Senator Lena Taylor in the past. With the possibility of Chris Larson's colleague Representative Mandela Barnes running for Lena’s seat, they can’t really go after him yet. Instead, they go after Larson and anyone who works for him.  (If you want a litany of uninformed accusations check out Mikel Holt’s recent column in the Community Journal.  He calls Larson a kingmaker and gets his back up about the Sandy Pasch race in 2014. The seat he’s complaining about is occupied by Rep. David Bowen, who was the target of Abele’s political manager Tia Torhorst’s campaign tactics that year. David wasn’t "quite the right color fit" for Shorewood, according to her. Why Mr. Holt has a problem with Bowen being the ultimate "king" in that race is never explained.)  People just don’t want what Abele is selling.  It's hard to find people who listen to Sherwin’s show these days. It’s turned into a whole program engineered by Miss Bonita from “In Living Color.” But I’m not one to gossip.

If pay-for-play radio is what Abele’s campaign has been reduced to after four years of performance, the county is in worse shape than he’s letting on. Time to do an open records request on those books, unless Abele’s worked with Republicans yet again to deny us our rights. Vote wisely and vote early, everybody.

The New Aryan Movement

By Jeff Simpson

What is Racism?

Racism is an ugly word that has been around as long as humankind itself. Racism actually can be broken down into two distinct definitions: on the one hand it simply means that groups of people are defined by their inherent differences (skin color, culture, appearance) and that, because of these differences, one group is seen to be better than the other. The second definition of racism is the unfair treatment of others based solely on these differences. Throughout history, humankind has treated others with contempt and committed atrocities upon them just because of the color of their skin or the culture from which they come.

In the year 2015 the Supreme Court of the United States finally made gay marriage legal.   Just as it seemed that we were advancing beyond the 1950's as a society.
Then Donald Trump appeared, and started "telling it ike it is" and  things started getting seriously out of control.
“I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”  Donald Trump
The Republicans at first thought it was fun at furst,  His outrageousness and the things he was saying, was what they were thinking but being career politicians have learned to use a filter.  Every political observer figured the the Donald would be bored after a few weeks on the campaign and head back home and start looking for wife number four.

Then something crazy started to happen.  It seemd like the crazier he talked the more he was rising in the polls of the Republican primary.   The Republican base had been sick of a couple things and it seemed like Mr. Trump was speaking right to them.

The R base was upset from feeling the pain of Republcian austerity policies that have directly made their lives worse.  The problem though, is the base did not realize that the tough talking elected Republicans were not their friends.   The establishment though has been playing this game for a long time and they knew that they need to keep the chickens happy if they want to keep guarding the hen house.  This is when Richard Nixon and the R insiders, came up with the Southern Strategy to win the south.

Since then they have used the politcs of resentment and division successfully over and over.   Until this election cycle.   Donald Trump came on the scene, and the racism has been ratched up to 11.

This is NOT an isolated incident.

African Americans are not allowed in Trump rally's.  Trumps supporters hear this:

Then do this:

Image result for racism

Now that they made it ok to do this at his rally's it is starting to trickle down!  It allows thugs and racists like Colin "14/88" Flaherty to be empowered    If you have not heard of Flaherty count yourself lucky.

He is one of the people that made up the story of the Knockout game to help make white America afraid of our African American brothers and sisters.  He also wrote a book telling anyone who was foolish enough to read it that if you see a black male around.....be very afraid because he is coming to get you

The book however must be good because Alex Jones loves it!

Alex Jones: “Brilliant. Could not put it down.”

But wait there is more!  The thrum of racism is getting so loud that people have to go extreme if they want to be heard.   Flaherty is now attacking Professor Goldrick Rab.  Professor Goldrick-Rab made the mistake of criticizing the attacks on piblic education in Wisconsin by Scott Walker.  The loss of tenure topped with everything else that has happened in WI and Ms. Goldrick-Rab was poached out of  UW-Madison by Temple University!
